Coming into the project, I wasn’t familiar with any in-house workflow or process because there wasn’t anyone who could train me or an onboarding system to ensure the successful completion of my tasks. Therefore, I read whatever I could find about their lighting processes, communicated with the in-game lighters and other art departments, and documented the information needed for new lighters to have a smoother transition.
I brought value to this project by improving lighting tools, new workflows and processes, and a documentation system. Additionally, I lit most of the cinematic and marketing scenes. By doing all of this, the game had a successful launch.
